Chandra Team Builds

Hi All,

So, after saving up scrolls for ages – I managed to pull a Nat 5 (Water Beast Monk / Chandra).
I immediately fed him my 12 devilmons that had been sitting in storage waiting for me to decide who to feed them to (Max skill 1 & 2, Skill 3 short by 2 or 3 points).

Happy for recommendations on any monsters (whether I have them or not).
Looking for ideas purely on Guild wars/Siege….. maybe defense.
Any thoughts would be welcome.
Currently I expect to use, Xiong Fei and Chandra against fire heavy teams (no idea on 3rd member yet)
Or Tesarion and chandra against fire/water heavy passive teams.

Any that have him, an idea of your suggested rune builds would be nice too or general comments on how you rate him post 2017 buffs.
I have equipped him my left over runes (Vio/WIll – HP/Crit R/HP but this is likely to change after free rune removal).

Random thought – Opponent’s Chilling, stealing the hug and chandra counter attacking any that hit the newly hugged Chilling – I know this won’t happen but that would be fun.

Yes, That sounds like a pretty solid team.
Looking forward to trying it out.

Any other options?

Especially with the new buff, Chandra + Jeanne may be a strong combo as Jeanne can provoke everyone and if Chandra defends Jeanne he can counter attack to stun.

Thank you for your response.
Yes, when I read the new buffs – that was the pretty much the 1st thing that came to mind (And how annoying Juno will be in TOA).
I had already tried the combo but my Jeanne  isnt fully runed (also with no devilmons). I will have to rune her up better.
I am thinking of adding in a fairly tanky Perna as a 3rd slot option – passive heal as currently my Chandra and Jeanne aren’t too heavy on the damage.
But it does mean that I will be lacking a defense break.
